THREE WAYS TO PARTICIPATE:

  1. Families, come trick-or-treat in this safe environment
  2. Volunteer your group to hand out candy to 1,500 children, and promote your organization or business!
  3. Participate in the Spooktacular Showdown! Help us decorate for Halloween and compete for cash prizes!

Fox Pointe will be open Sunday, Oct. 26 through Friday, Oct. 31st (HALLOWEEN) to view the creative and ghastly creatures and scenes in the Spooktacular Showdown!

  • Sunday, Oct. 26, noon-7 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 27 – Friday, Oct. 31, 3-7 p.m.

This event is free for families to attend. Children in costume can walk with their families and gather candy from each participating group. Last year, we had more than 60 groups hand out candy!

2025 SPOOKTACULAR SHOWDOWN CONTEST:

Compete for prizes by decorating a space for Halloween and our Annual Trick-or-Treat. You’ll get a 6’x4′ area of wire fence on which to secure your spooky decorations. Create a single monster or an entire scene! The winner is determined by popular vote. Will it be you?

Contest Information: THE CONTEST HAS BEEN CLOSED. 

  • Entry Fee of $10 can be paid at the municipal center or online right here. Deadline Oct. 10.
  • You’ll create original frightening monsters, ghouls, spiders, bats, and other spooky elements and affix them to a sturdy wire fence, approximately 4’x 4’, that is installed at Fox Pointe. Create just one frightening feature or a whole scene. Creations must be original, not purchased yard ornaments.
  • Bring your creatures to Fox Pointe and secure them to your assigned area. Setup dates: Friday, Saturday, Monday, Oct. 17, 18, 20: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sunday, Oct. 19: noon-4 p.m. Use zip-ties, rope, wire, and other weather-friendly connections.
  • Finished creepies will be displayed for public viewing from Oct. 26 through Halloween.
  • Online voting will be conducted from October 21st – noon on 25th.
  • Winners will be announced on October 25th during the Fox Pointe Trick-or-Treat event.
  • Cash awards for 1st place: $100, 2nd place: $50, 3rd place: $25

Guidelines:

  • Entire ghouls must be securely fastened to the fencing.
  • Feature elements including stuffing/packing must be waterproof (bubble wrap, plastic bags, etc.)
  • Monsters will remain outside and unprotected for approximately two weeks. Decisions on decorations, accessories, and props should be made knowing that adverse weather conditions may occur.
  • Dismantle your scene and pick up your creatures at Fox Pointe Saturday & Monday, Nov. 1 & 3, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 2, noon-5 p.m. Leftover displays will be thrown in the trash.
